Engine Rebuild
For our engine rebuild, our technicians work hard and fast on a process where the finished engine is “as new”, inside and out. They quickly yet carefully replace parts that have “wear” on them with new items. At Crown Point we are sure to target specifically all the valves, pistons, bearings, seals, O-Rings, rubber or plastic parts, and gaskets. Our job is to make sure the engine feels like it's new when you get back out on the road.
Oil Change
Oil changes are one of our most popular services as you might expect. However we treat each oil change with special care as we make sure to check and change all the filters and perform a thorough job of getting your truck lubed up. Oil is the lifeblood of your rig and we want to make sure it's flowing well and keeping all the parts cranking smoothly.
Tires and Breaks
Tires and Breaks are different services for us here but they are hard to separate out as we do a thorough job of inspecting the whole wheel mechanism. We go through everything making sure all the gaskets are sealed and that there is no air leaking. Tires are one of our specialty as we have a resource for inexpensive tires-- steer and drive tires.
Transmission/Clutches
Clutch problems can crop up slowly but surely the signs are evident that it is breaking down. Sometimes it's just something like the engine revving higher than normal because the friction plate is worn. It could be some difficulty disengaging after the pedal has been pressed- this is a common problem that we can immediately fix wether it is rod, cable or hydraulic. Transmission problems are best to bring in as early as possible since the problem can get compounded as the truck can still continue to run even if not smoothly.
